About Yourself:
Work in IT. Kept fish tanks for about 15 years. Also have a marine tank. I hope to set up a ciclid tank in the near future.

Keep your fridge stocked with beer, chocolate and cake. OK, so it's got nothing to do with fish, but its still good advice!!! You need to have something to do while your watching the tank!!!

About Yourself:
Single with 3 boys.
I thought (actually, my wife thought) a fish tank would be a great thing to have for our boys so we put one together Christmas Eve and told the boys we would all pick out a fish come New Year's.
I am totally into this! I already want a 55 gallon saltwater but I don't see that happening for many years. Plus, I have to see if the five starter fish do OK.
Fish Kept:
1 Large Danio (Big Bucky)
1 Purple Passion Danio (Lightning)
1 Non-Aggressive Orange Cichlid
3 Black Tetras
1 Red Tailed Shark (Inky)
Corals/Plants:
Driftwood (2 smaller pieces) rocks and plastic plants. I'll go live once the tank is acclimated. (I tried one live plant and it didn't survive so scratch that)
Tank Size:
20 gallons
Advice:
Go to a really really good Aquarium shop. I wasn't happy with the giant pet places. Try to find a "aquatic only" store or two. I love Aquarium Adventure here in the Cleveland area. The staff there has been super helpful with all of my questions as well as having just about everything for aquariums under the sun. I recommend getting all of your starter fish from the same place.
Description:
My first aquarium.
20 gallon with Zebra Cichlids, Black mollies, danios, tetras and one red-tailed shark.
Rocks, two pieces of driftwood and plastic plants.

I am a 3D animator that has been an aquarist for about a year... I kept many terrariums in the past 2 years. I was into plants first and it led me from houseplants to keeping terrariums to creating aquariums and paludariums. I spend an average of 10 hours a week keeping up this tank. It is a great joy. Thank you for looking at it. It is an honor to have you view it.

1x Gold Gourami,
2x Blue Gourami,

About Yourself:
I've always wanted a big tank. My wife came home one day and said that she got a deal on a 44 gallon tank and then it ended up in the middle of my living room. I then had to start this new project. It was new to me, but I definitely love the new hobby.
Fish Kept:
6 Tiger Barbs, 5 Zebra Danios, 2 Red Platies, 1 Topsail Platy, 2 Black Sailfin Mollies, 1 Plecostamus & 2 Golden Mystery Snails
Corals/Plants:
All plastic.
Tank Size:
44 gallons
Advice:
Take your time to pick out exactly what you want in your tank. Take the time to try new setups for all decorations and plants. Plan ahead so that you won't have to restart from the beginning. Cleall all decorations and accessories before adding in water. Last but not least, test all equipment before setting up and then plugging in.
