Advice:
Have lots of patience and research the type of fish you'd like to have. Buy the largest tank you can afford. The bigger the tank the easier it is to keep it clean. Don't ask Walmart or Petsmart for advice they don't know ssh** lol.

It's such a fine line between clever and stupid.
About Yourself:
Got into the hobby when my roomate in college got a tank. Been a while but I recently got back into it a few months ago and so far so good. Nothing better than getting home from work, lighting up and zoning out in front of the tank. Much better than TV if you ask me.
Fish Kept:
Mix of aggressive species, believe it or not it works out well if you provide a good balance of caves, crevices, territories, and open water. One of each – Labidochromis Caeruleus; Pseudotropheus Lombardoi; Botia Helodes; Synodontis Ocellifer; Ctenopoma Acutirostre; Leporinus Fasciatus; Epalzeorhynchos Frenatus; Anostomus Anostomus; Gyrinocheilus Aymonieri; Procambarus Alleni; Macrobrachium Amazonicum; and 5 Pomacea Bridgesii
Corals/Plants:
All fake plants, sometimes I'll throw in some live plants as a supplemental food source.
Tank Size:
60 gallons
Advice:
Never hurry any process or you're going to find yourself in a lot of trouble very quickly. Take as long to cycle as you can, and find out everything possible about the fish you want before you buy them to ensure compatibility. Don't skip water changes (even if the water looks clean) and test water quality often. Also make the effort to get a quarantine tank, you'll be amazed at how helpful it will be.
Description:

Sorry about the quality, took the pic. with my phone's camera.
