Rated #4: 125 Gallons Freshwater Fish Tank

Rated #4: 125 Gallons Freshwater Fish Tank - Lucky Bamboo "Forest": Dramatic Nitrate Reduction Using Riparian or Epipremnum Plants. I use pothos and monstera with roots in the water, leaves out the top on all of my tanks. On average, it dropped the nitrates some 75% after about 2 weeks. The Lucky Bamboo proved (unknowingly) to be the nitrate eating champion in that I can no longer measure any nitrates in a fully stocked 75 cichlid tank after about a month (the picture is older, as the 'bamboo' is now 4' tall!).
