About Yourself:
I first started with a 10GL freshwater planted aquarium that was a gift. Bought a 29GL freshwater planted, then recently bought a 55GL freshwater planted and made the 29GL into marine. So far i have done a good job without any CO2, but I want my plants to do better, so I am looking into a pressurized system. Its a lot of money, but worth it from what I have read everywhere. Between this tank and my saltwater they just drain my money, but I'm sure i can fish out about $200 sometime in the next month or so.
Fish Kept:
Gold and regular tetras, Otocinclus, Dwarf puffer fish, Marble and Ghost Shrimp, neons, serpae tetras, and recently some electric green glo fish.
Corals/Plants:
Driftwood, Swords, Anacharis, Moss Ball, Dwarf Hairgrass, Anubia, Red Wendtii, micro swords, red ludwigia, and java moss.
Tank Size:
55 gallons
Advice:
Read a lot online and learn from other's mistakes first.
Description:
A more recent picture, water is clearer, and the lighting is a bit brighter, changed from the two 18" to 1 48" tube and since it has a reflector its brighter. Also added a 70 aquaclear mechanical filter, works better than the old cascade. New additions were 3 clown gobies and 2 freshwater clams.

Corals/Plants:
swords, crypts, dwarf sag, anubias, onion plant, banana plant, vals, red lotus and more.

Read a lot and experiment more, not every set up works for everyone.
Soil 1 inch on the bottom with a 1/4 inch gravel top and proper lighting is all you need. CO2 is a waste of money.
