90 gallon reef. 125ls live rock. skim coat of live sand. 2 x 250 watt 10,000 k m/h. 2 x 40 watt uri super actinics. aqua c urchin pro skimmer. 20 gallon chambered sump. little giant return pump @ 1000 gph. teco chiller/ heater
weekly 5-10 percent water changes and i only test and adjust for alk and calcium....

About Yourself:
I am a 45 year old man that operated a machine in a paper company for years. I became disable after having a horrific accident at work. After being without a job and staying at home lonely cause my wife went to work and my children went to school I had to keep my mind ocupied. A friend of mine took me to his house to show me his tank and it was so gorgeous that I became interested in this type of hobby. Besides having a truck that I take all over the state for carshows.
Fish Kept:
I have several kinds of fishes and invertebrates in my tank like ocellaris clown fishes, yellow tang, naso tang, blue damsel, firefish, clark clownfish pacific blue tang, stipped black and grey angel fish, chocolate chip sea star, snails, crab, blue small lobster and shrimps.
Corals/Plants:
Some of the corals that I have are xenia, trachyphyllia, leather toadstool coral, blue yellow and candycane sponges, etc...
Tank Size:
90 gallons
Advice:
My advice to somebody that is new to this hobby is to do some research first of all. Make sure that you know what you are doing because this is an expensive hobby and not only that it requires a lot of maintenance and time. I have really learned a lot by researching and because my brother is a marine biologist in Puerto Rico.

never have been good at this but i'll give it a shot.
My name is Ryan i am 24 years old and i live in Missouri. I have worked at petco for the past 5 years in the aquatic department where i discovered the wonderful world of saltwater. I didn't do much in my spare time so i picked a hobby that takes up all my time off of work- REEF TANKS!!!! I have been doing it for the past three years and had fish and rock tanks for aprox. 5 years.

I have a naso tang, two fire fish, yellow watchman goby, gudgeon goby, neon dottyback, bicolor blenny, mandarian goby, jaw fish, and tons of inverts
Corals/Plants:
There are two types of mushrooms-brown fuzzies and green, four types of polyps-yellow, green stars, green button, and red sand, a fiji yellow leather, devils hand leather, five headed frog spawn, bubble coral, cup coral, xenias (x4), ande an orange carnation coral that was a loose frag.

30 gallon reef... after doing this for a little while I know now how wrong my early setup was.. (first pics).. stocklist: 6 line wrasse, blue chromis, 2 false perculas and a yellow clown goby. Also a shrimp, sand starfish and a cleanup crew...
