Snails, hermits, conchs, etc. All fish peacefully getting along surprising.

This is m first Saltwater Reef Tank. Watch Out For the Sucker Stage!!!, Don't rush into anything. All fish must eat before you purchase. I cannot begin to tell you how may fish were lost because they never ate.

I have been keeping freshwater fish for 24 years, saltwater fish for about 20, and reefs for about 15 years. I still take a minimalists approach and subsribe to the theory of keeping it as simple as possible.

Percula Clown 12 years old.
Yellow Tang 8 years old.
Yellow Headed Sleeper Goby is about a year old as are the 6 Green Chromis

Sarcophyton that I fragged about 8 years ago, Mushrooms and other soft corals everywhere that came from a small frag rocks, Torch Coral that was Fragged locally and has now split into about 8 heads.

Description:
This is the tank 4 days after setting it up May 2007. Notice sparse coral coverage. Only 2 small specimens have been added since this picture was taken: a small Candy cane coral and another tiny hard coral frag. I actually traded a bunch of stuff in this Jan. including one of the leathers.

Started this tank April 2010, first tank was a 56 gallon column tank. love this hobby except for how much it cost. still plan on adding alot more corals and fish....any suggestions?

I am a graduate student, applying to medical school now. I have been interested in saltwater fish for over 6 years now, learning as I go. My cousin who lives in florida originally got me interested telling me it wasn't as hard as everyone thinks.
