About Yourself: Been keeping fish for 15 years. Started out managing my father's 10 gallon feeder, 55 gallon mating, 75 gallon aggressive, and 125 gallon Discus tanks all at once. My father, a master fish tanker who taught me everything I know, later sold the 55 gallon and 75 gallon, but I got my own 30 gallon South American community tank, and took over the 125 gallon with 4 very large Oscars. Have since got my own home and am the proud owner of a 75 gallon and 20 gallon.
Fish Kept: Convict Cichlid x 8
Corals/Plants: None
Tank Size: 75 gallons
Advice: Do all your research up front...

Rated #160: 40 Gallons Planted Tank

Rated #160: 40 Gallons Planted Tank - This is a 40 gallon breeder tank. A clown knife fish resides in the tank and soon it will be joined by a few cichlids. There are 6 live plants flourishing in the tank and I created realistic hiding spots out of flagstone rock. The tank is heated to about 78 degrees and is filtered using a Fluval 205 canister filter. It looks great!
