About Yourself:
I'm a student finishing up university, doing a double major, honours, in Law & Human Rights with plans for further education. (Either international human rights law to be studied in Europe or law school to be taken here in Canada.) I pursue fish as a hobby, because I find it relaxing and rewarding, in addition to some of my other hobbies which include traveling, reading, writing, music, and reptiles. I've lived abroad in Germany and plan to live in other countries again down the line - there's nothing like being immersed in another culture!
Fish Kept:
Discus. Piranha (p. nattereri, s. sanchezi, s. rhombeus). Oscars. Green terrors. Silver dollars. Clown loaches. Zebra loaches. Various live bearers (guppies, platies, molies, endler's, etc). Various tetras (cardinal, neon, head & tail light, black neon, buenos aires, etc). Bettas (veil, delta, crown, double). And probably a ton more I'm forgetting, this is just off the top of my head...

Here's a few...

Advice:
Malwian Haps and Mbuna are great fish to keep they breed easily and are very interesting to watch
The more filtration the better and keep up with the water changes especially with the African rift lake cichlids. I change 1/2 the water once a week (sometimes I get away with only every other week but this is the exception not the rule)
Keeping fish is very addicted and I have never had the addiction so bad as I have had since I started keeping malwian cichlids

About Yourself:
I've had fish since I was very young, but that doesn't mean I'm an expert. Just a fish-lover/addict. Want to have more tanks, bigger tanks, but have to move out first...its honestly so expensive these days, its hard!
I work with horses as well, also not an expert, just a admirer- hoping to be an expert some day. I own a cat whom I love, and I adore writing. I would love to meet people with the same intrests. However, I am shy, not exactly out going.
Fish Kept:
Two oscars, one striped rapheal catfish, one senegal bichir, a synodontis catfish, pair of kribensis, Tiger loach, Yoyo loach South american puffer, one glass catfish, two mystery snails, two african dwarf frogs, one dwarf puffer and three female betas and one male crowntail beta.
Corals/Plants:
Mostly fake- though getting into some of the real ones- just starting though.
Tank Size:
29 gallons
Advice:
I'm afraid to give any, everybody seems to have a different opinion. Im welcome to advice though at any time =)
Description:
Beta, another fish I adore.
This is my white/yellow/blue Beta- a wal mart fish, though I adore him. He's vain, and all he does is look at himself. His name is Moby Dick (in memory of my other white beta that died)
