Ever since i got this fish, he would stay burried beneath the gravel. But ever since i got this seagrass type plant he has been alot more active.

I have been keeping fish for over20 years, I have shown my fish for a few years and also was a judge for a few years. I was involved with running a local club and a regional federation. I am now disabled so just keep my fish for pleasure.

Java moss, Fern moss ricca fluitians. Moss balls used to anchor plants onto rocks. (special ingredinent use fishing line to tie it all in place till roots take hold)

Hi i'm Nathan i'am 15 years old and have been keeping freshwater fish for 4 years now.My personal favourite fish are southern and central american bottom feeders, tetras and cichlids.Six new golden pencilfish and one sterbai cory now installed into my aquarium and were cheap at £2.20 per pencilfish and £6 for the sterbai cory.

This is my new ram he is a long finned ballon ramirezi.His water his filtered through peat and i do daily 5% water changes to keep ammonia and nitrite levels in check.Saddly he has now passed on because he got caught in the filter god bless his fishy soul.RIP 14/2/06

Advice:
Whenever you buy your first fish, ask the store for a handful of of the gravel that you can put in your tank. The store gravel is cultured with all of the necessary bacterias that will help keep your fish alive. It can take weeks for the bacteria to grow naturally without cultured gravel, but with a handful from the store, it will only be a matter of days before it spreads to the entire tank.
