About Yourself:
I am new to Salt, been playing with cichlids for a few years, breeding them, collecting beautiful ones, just had to graduate to salt. I now have 5 salt tanks, and 7 cichlid tanks. We figure, since we can't live next to the water, we'll bring it to us, a tank in every room gets us through life.
Fish Kept:
Pair Ocillarus clowns, foxface rabbitfish, yellow eye tang, firefish, chromis', target mandarin goby, derasa clowns
Corals/Plants:
Rose anemone, mixed euphelia (including octopus), mixed zoos, stoneys, toadstool, donut coral, dendro, candycane, red flowerpot, red acans, lots of maze brains, favita, etc
Tank Size:
90 gallons
Advice:
Enjoy the process. The only thing that happens quickly in a reeftank is failure.

About Yourself:
We started saltwater aquaria in 2007 with a brthday gift from my spouse: a 95G Oceanic Wave reef tank. Within months, we were looking for a larger tank! The 95G now houses my wife's breeding seahorses, (Hippocampus Reidi) and a nice collection of zoanthids, palys and other safe corals for the seahorses...
Fish Kept:
(1) Magnificent Foxface Rabbitfish
(1) Blue Hippo Tang
(1) Yellow Tang
(2) Black ORA Ocellaris Clownfish
(5) Green Chromis
(1) Green Mandarin Dragonette
(1) Purple Firefish
(1) Yellow spooted Goby
Corals/Plants:
Acropora, Montipora, Zoanthids, Colt, Frogspawn, Plate coral, GSP,
Tank Size:
180 gallons
Advice:
The first and most important lesson I learned in saltwater aquaria: Be patient, grasshopper.
Find an honest, experienced LFS which specializes in saltwater, join a local club, and seek advice constantly. Start with as large a tank as you can manage...that will only delay the desire to upgrade!

About Yourself:
Oreginally i'm from Ukrain, so tell you right away sorry for my spelling errors wich i have ALOT. SOrry.
Now i live in Oregon,
I started my first saltwater tank in 2003. I have been in and out of the hobby a few times due to work-related issues, but my interest in marine aquariums has never waned. Today we are living in a different world with so many more technical enhancements, which is one of the things, along with those few years of trying and testing, that made it possible.
Fish Kept:
10 blue damslzzz, 2 Naso tang , yellow tang, 2fireshrimps,2 cleaner shrimps, 1 sea orcher, ect. i'm more like a corals hobbiest, so all my $$$ i spend on them.
Corals/Plants:
total coral numbers are: hard corals 12 soft corals and leather corals, ect. are about 29.

Advice:
if anything, read the advice of the top 10 rated tanks!!! and read as much material as you can - internet, books, word of mouth. and there's no such thing as overkill when it comes to maintaining your water quality!
Description:
it's hard to take pics with no glare, even harder to take them when all the fish are out! (and even still only 1/2 the fish are pictured.) the tan k is 4ft front to back; it's real hard to capture that perspective from a dead-on front angle

Advice:
GO BIG! if u dont its a waste of $ bc ull always want bigger ;)
plus coral tanks need to be open top. smaller they are the more the evaporate most likely which can cause less than constant water perameters. PLUS you can buy more coral its addictive ha.
