72 x 24 x 24 reef tank with numerous SPS, LPS, zoas grown from frags. Lighting is CURRENT USA Outer Orbit fixture w/ 3x 250W 14K Phoenix Metal Halides supplemented by 8x 39W 420nn and 460nn T5s. Oceanic Model 2 Sump, with center chamber refugium with Chaeto, Blueline 40D-X external return pump, Ocotpus DNW-200 Recirculating Protein Skimmer, Hydor Wavemaker 2 driving (2) Korolia 4 12V Professional series powerheads supplemented by (2) Maxi-Jet 1200 with Hydor wave adaptors. TLF Reactor running carbon.
Advice:
The first and most important lesson I learned in saltwater aquaria: Be patient, grasshopper.
Find an honest, experienced LFS which specializes in saltwater, join a local club, and seek advice constantly. Start with as large a tank as you can manage...that will only delay the desire to upgrade!
