This is our first saltwater tank! I am skilled with bettas and know about freshwater tanks and ponds.
Fish Kept:
2 peppermint shrimp, 1 1-armed coral banded shrimp, emerald crab, 3 blue crabs, 1 scarlet hermit crab, 1 brittle star, 1 turbo snail, 1 small snail and 1 snail that seems to have snuck in in a shell i thought was empty.

58yr old steel worker who has alway love fish mostly fresh water but about 6 mo. ago i tried a 29 tall salt water setup and I WAS HOOK so to say its very fun to watch all the neat things in the salt water world.

Advice:
salt water can not be difficult but it can not be hurried eather research is a must on types of fish and coral that will get along with each outher. every thing must be close to perfect condition for a safe healthy tank.

First started out with a 10 gallon fresh water tank, then moved on to a 55 gallon tank. Converted from fresh to salt but 55 was too big, so now we have a 15 gallon saltwater reef tank.
