I am a 21 year old college student at the University of Texas at Tyler. Fish are just a side hobby, one which i intend to pursue long into the future tho.

Advice:
Dont become discouraged. Buy bigger and higher quality, even at the expense of buying more (ie: better tank, less fish initially.)
Youl thank yourself in the long run.

Please give me some advice if you think this isn't good the plan is to put 1betta 1 pleco and about 5-10 fancy shrimp once the plants settle in

Make sure you cycle your tank!! My tank was not cycled properly when I put my first 10 shrimp in and only one lived. After cycling again, my shrimp seem to be happier this time around

I bought 10 guppies, and they all died except one female. There are about 15 in the tank now of the next gen, and more...
Originally:
Males, 4 yellows and 1 sunset.
Females, 3 sunset 1 split tale 1 yellow.
And I can get rid of whichever ones I don't like.
