11/06/08 Well scratch one Gourami, healthy one day, dead the next. Darn it.
12/30/08 Doubled my Neons to 12, more plants and new light.
Corals/Plants:
All live plants, more on that later, building up the variety, but i need to learn more about live plants.

In the tank currently is a Fire Eel, Peacock Eel, 2 African Dwarf Frogs, and an assortment of guppies.
Corals/Plants:
An array of Amazon swords at the back,A few java ferns on the right (that the eels always dig up), and some small tree like plants at the front

More gallons, more fish.
Description:
Eel City. The fire eel is in the rocks at the bottom, and the peacock eel is half-buried between the ship and the pot, in the long grass. He's an expert hider.

Professional photographer. Magazine editor. Got a small gold fish from a photo shoot. bought a bigger 12 gal for him wantedto add more fish. Gold fish died cuz i over fed him. took the hoby more seriously and fel in love with it. going bigger next year.

4 inch managuense. 3 inch Midus. 2 inch jack dempsy. 4 inch green terror. 2 inch peral gourami. 4 inch Pleco. 3 inch pico cat. 4 inch Bala Shark. 2 inch Fire mouth. 6 tiger barbs. 2 cory cats. 2 inch krebensis. In my 3 gal there is a baby EBJD who will have all priority over the bigger tank. betta in breeder tank. will go back to 3 gal when EBJD is bigger

Neon/cardinal Tetras, Redeye tetras, German Blue Ram, catfish, clown loach, male/female platy, male/female guppy. I also have one large white fish which I inherited...not sure exactly what it is but its about 6 years old now.

Advice:
Get all the right equipment upfront. Dont skimp on gear and provide over the recommended filtration...also using multiple methods of filtration in the same tank is a good idea also.
