expect first fish to die, do not get discouraged. ask tons of questions to people who have healthy fish tanks. do not use chemicals.

55 gallon tank. custom painted red top and bottom, with custom painted blue background. 7 ASSORTED AFRICAN CICHLIDS. 7 TIGER BARBS. 1 CRAB. Plant life is all plastic. 60 gallon filter with air bubbles as well.i need a bigger light then my tank is complete.

Hi fish folks. I'm a Software Programmer from Malaysia. I got into this fishkeeping hobby since 2018 starting with small little plastic tank with few guppies. Slowly upgrade to 40cm 10 gallon tank after added in more fishes. After that add another 2ft 20 gallon tank. After not long added an used 3ft 50 gallon tank.

Advice:
Research the fishes you like to keep after browsing at local fish store before you decide on the size of tank to buy and the max budget and space you able to afford. This will save you a lot of hassle in the long run.

I started out with a community 10 gallon tank. It was fun for a while till i wanted to go bigger. Then i bought a 30 gallon,had that for a bit. then went bigger to a 55gallon. Now i have a sunfish and bottle mouth in my 30. Im a union carpenter so a stand/top were no problem to make.

Well, this is my first tank so..I have two black moors, one is named ShooShoo and the other is named NeHoMa (thank you, and hello in Mandrin Chinese). I also have three common Goldfish named Peanut, Butter and Jelly. I also have some sort of catfish he is striped orange and black and his name is Butler but im still not sure what kind of Catfish he is.
