QT, QT and QT some more! The biggest and most costly mistake you can make is not to quarantine new fish for 6-8 weeks. Read, Research and Review any forum, library, magazine, etc you can get your hands on. BUY QUALITY STOCK FROM A REPUTABLE BREEDER to begin with. It will save you money, time and aggravation in the long run.

African cichlid tank with over 80 pounds of red shale. The fish should love this setup, as they each have multiple caves to set their territories upon. What do you think?

This aquarium was a birthday present for my 11 year old son. After discussing options he chose to go with a black theme community tank. He has setup everything himself in his first aquarium.

Been in this hobby for about a year now. I first started with a 5 gallon community freshwater, but that didnt turn out good, so i upgraded to a 15 gallon tank with jack dempseys, and now i have a 26gallon with 2 piranhas.
