started with a 5 gallon 2 years ago now i have a 125 gallon. this hobby is like drugs, once you get hooked you only fall in deeper and deeper.

the best advice i can give is keep your water as clean as possible. over filter and do your water changes on a weekly basis.

The tank currently has a few breeding pairs of convicts but Iplan to move my frontosa colony in to it soon

The plants are all plastic. The rocks came from along side of the road on my way to work. The driftwood came from a local so cal beach after a big storm. The long pieces in the center tank are three feet long and 6 inchs in diameter.

Advice:
If at first you don't suceed, try and try again. This is a hobby where trail and error is part of the learning process. There are also alot of resorces available on the internet so take a little time to do your research, but most importantly Have Fun!

i got into this as my parents kept a freshwater aquarium with a fully grown oscar and wanted my own to keep.

1 community tank with vaious fish, and quite a few of em :). also one tank specialy for crabs.

Been keeping fish and since 1981... Got my 6ft 6 tank last year and transferred everyone into it from my 4ft. Only added the Cats and 1 Severum since the move. They look FANTASTIC !

I started when I was 12 with goldfish. I am 49 now and have almost always had fish. Many different sizes and types of tanks through the years. This is by far my favourite. Only set up just a little over a month.

I use artificial plants, and the decorations are also made of polystone. I have an artificial skull and artificial gator scull to the far left. I will take some better pics soon.

Description:
3 balloon mollies keeping me company during the last 6 months of writing my PhD thesis. Their names are officer 'smitty' mcclusky (white/pink), the 'situation' (patchy yellow and orange), and jamaal (black with blue speckles). These divas need brackish water and lots of maintenance. Bigs ups to my 3 little distractions.
