Corals/Plants: plastic plants
Tank Size: 48 gallons
Advice: To keep rocks clean and white, just turn them over every now and then. This is why my tank always looks different, but at least the ocean rocks stay white.

About Yourself: When I was little my dad had a big 225 gallon tank with an Oak stand that he built for it, and he had all sorts of awesome fish that sparked my interest so since the age of five I've had a tank and I'm 22 now so for how young I am I have some experience.
Fish Kept: I have all different types of cichlids even though it's not suggested, but have yet to have a problem with it. I also have different bottom feeders and plecos throughout.
Corals/Plants: Like stated before all rocks are from my grandparents I believe found throughout Utah. the wood is from Wyoming and all plants are plastic so the cichlids and plecos can't destroy them.
Tank Size: 55 gallons
Advice: Start small then grow your tank along with your knowledge

About Yourself: Well, my friend got an aquarium. I decided to get her a fish one day and ended up with my OWN aquarium! That was back in February... my only regret is that I only bought a 10 Gallon. Aside from that I work with dogs, live in Humboldt and spend much of my time at the beach.
Fish Kept: 1 Bumblebee Goby, 1 Apistogramma Borellis Dwarf Cichlid, 4 Celestial Pearl Danios, 2 Guppies, 2 Ghost shrimp and 4 Cherry shrimp
Corals/Plants: all plastic
Tank Size: 10 gallons
Advice: Be aware of what you want in your aquarium and set it up accordingly. Take your time with it. Rushing the process will most likely cause problems. I'de also like to mention that the smaller the tank the less room for error!!

About Yourself: I love fish. I've had my aquarium for a few years now, and I can say for certain that it's been a pleasure. The fish are amusing and calming, the tank makes a beautiful decoration for our living room, and keeping my fish healthy and alive is an entirely different challenge than, say, caring for a hamster. Finding a combination of species that will co-habitate, keeping the water at the right parameters to ensure optimal health and colors, and decorating their watery home to look at its best is a satisfying experience, to say the least. Though I had my doubts at first, I'm so glad I went with the bigger tank.
Fish Kept: 6 African Cichlids, 1 Pleco +12"
Corals/Plants: All plastic... it's an aquarium not a garden
Tank Size: 540 gallons
Advice: get the basics and initial set up right.
