I always wanted a pet, I thought a fish would be a good choice. Gold fish are too messy so I went with a betta.

10 Gallon tank.
Blue and White gravel.
1 red male betta (brian).
Whisper filter.
I made a tunnel (with a well cleaned pipe), you can see it towards the back...
Brian tends to stay at the top of the tank but at night he will explore the tunnel and the other decorations at the bottom.
