"To each their own"
About Yourself:
I have been keeping fish for 2 years. Always on a budget which makes it hard, but I manage. Ive got 3 tanks running right now, 30, 20, and a 10 gallon. I cant wait to upgrade my 30 to a 55. When I move into a more permanent location, I will be investing in my first saltwater tank, most likely a 75 gallon with my 20L or my 30 as a sump.
Fish Kept:
30 gallon: Blue Dwarf Gourami, school of Neon Tetras and Longfinned Danios. Pleco, 3 Spotted Cories, 2 African Dwarf Frogs. Large population of snails. 20L: 2 black moores, 2 fancy goldfish. 10 gallon: Heavily planted, a few different algea eaters and a Tiger Barb. One
Betta in his own tank.
Corals/Plants:
Amazon Swords, Java Fern, Peacock Fern, Aqua Fern, Wisteria, Banana Plant, Hornwart, Umbrella Plant, Anubius, and a few others.
Tank Size:
30 gallons
Advice:
Start slow and ask a lot of questions. Do it right the first time, be patient. Good luck!!

DOnt have 1 specific favorite I can think of right now but there are many which inspire me.
About Yourself:
I am in the processes of learning a little bit about freshwater fish and how to maintain an aquarium. I am learning through my boyfriend who enjoys the hobby very much. I managed to save the life of our Tiger Oscar who we almost lost due to FTS
( Fresh Water Tank Syndrome) I experienced having to rapidly change half of the water in a 150 gallon tank. Our Oscar's life depended on me acting as quiclkly as possible. I hope to learn more about freshwater fish because I really enjoy their company. I can't believe how attached I've become to the one's we already have and miss the one's we have lost.
Fish Kept:
1 Albino Oscar approx. 9 months old & 1 Tiger Oscar approx. 2 years old.
Corals/Plants:
Tried having them but my Oscar's always manage to destroy them.
Tank Size:
150 gallons
Advice:
Don't forget to do frequent water changes also before adding fish to a new tank make sure you allow your tank to cycle before adding any fish. I'm a new hobbyist myself.
