About Yourself:
Run a real estate appraisal business and two tanks sit in my office, 1 reef and 1 fowler.
Fish Kept:
Parrot fish, speckled grouper, clown trigger, 2 yellow tangs and 1 purple, maroon clown, 2 serpent starfish and whatever snails and hermits manage to survive from week to week.
Corals/Plants:
Corals in my other tanks. Mostly dyed coral skeletons and live rock in this tank.
Tank Size:
150 gallons
Advice:
Try building an algae filter and stop doing water changes! (Lowers nitrates and phosphates.) Low wattage blue spectrum lighting and algae filter have really kept nuisance algae down in the tank and on the glass.
I feed my parrotfish and tangs nori and they are much healthier than they had been on flake foods. I make my own chopped seafood blend mixed with Selcon for predators.
