Mainly Rainbows but I did have the occassional beta short fin and ghost knife. Also the good old common bristlenose. Kept some Kuhli loaches and some bolivian Rams as well. A mixture of different fishes.

I have had fish tanks since I was 12 years old. I have had everything from betas to freshwater community tanks to saltwater fish only tanks to Reef aquarims. Each one is unique and amazing in their own way. Currently I have a freshwater community tank. I am currently very facinated with Killifish. They are incredibly beautiful fish and there are so many different varities. I currently have 3 different varities.

3 Three Spot Gourami: 1 female Opaline, 1 female Blue, 1 female Platinum. 2 breeding pairs of angelfish: 1 zebra, 1 gold, 2 marbled. 5 young clown loaches. (don't worry, they are getting a larger tank). 4 cory catfish, 3 black skirt tetras, and I am currently looking to get another bristlenose pleco.
Corals/Plants:
Penny wort, crypt, amazon swords, Dwarf Sword, java fern on drift wood, and Along with some drift wood and river rocks.

55 gallons
Advice:
Patience is a virtue.
fyi: Clown loaches get VERY large. Although they grow slowly, you should not keep them unless you plan to upgrade your tank in the near future to at least 110 gallons (as I do).

About Yourself:
i love aquariums. i am working on my first saltwater aquarium now, i have been reading and researching saltwater for around 6 months and will hopefully be posting my saltwater reef tank up in the next 6 months.

2 red-eyed tetras, 3 corys, 2 plecos, 2 black skirt tetras, 7 neon tetras, 1 unknown species of tetra (orange), 1 ghost shrimp.

4-5 anubius tied down to lava rock and 2-3 free-floating anubius, 3-4 java ferns and many more newly reproduced babies

spend money on the parts that will keep your fish alive longer and better. look at it like an insurance policy.
