Rated #541: 55 Gallons Planted Tank - I have had this corner unit for about a year.  Equipment includes a Fluval 205 canister filter, Aquaclear powerhead with quickfilter attachment and a heater.  There is also a "cave" in the back corner (cannot be seen in the photo) which the gouramis/loaches use as a retreat.

Advice: Don't compromise...start out with the right equipment and tank for you. Buy new everything, don't inherit someone else's tank and set up. We learned that lesson the hard way.

Fish Kept: put in 4 bronze and 4 peppered cory's to help cycle . added 20 neons the other day. wanted cardinals but jeeez there expensive. Hoping to set it up as a semi planted discus tank but not even genna think about discus till i cycle it for a million years or so. any advice on discus would be appreciated
