About Yourself:
Hi, I'm Kevin. I'm new to the whole planted tank thing so I'm learning day by day. I have a fluval spec v. It has been up and running since Nov 2014. I still have my same lot of fish exept for one danio he jumped out during the night :/ and I just recently lost my oto cat I had him for two months he was great until one day he just wasn't, no signs of sickness or malnutrition. Water was perfect by my api master test kit. The ph is high in the tap water here in Florida, around 8.2 :/ other than that I'm always open to advice I do my best to stay natural.

Amazon sword, sword grass, anubius, java fern.

I was a corporate law clerk but am currently on disability. it gives me the time to write and keep fish and a collection of plants. I have been keeping fresh and brackish water tanks for approx 17 years now.

Advice:
Try a freshwater tropical fish tank before a saltwater tank. If the Betta becomes too aggressive, remove him.
Description:
This is my tiny, three-gallon tank, which houses a Pleco, three Guppies and a male Betta. The plant in view is an Amazon Sword. I also own a 55 gallon tank.
