very new to this i got my first aquarium in jan 09
i feed my fish a variety of cichlid pellets, flake food, betta color enhancing pellets(that is their favorite), and live guppies that i breed in a smaller tank.
Fish Kept:
2 plecos, 2 pistus catfish, 4 pairs of assorted african cichlids, and one trio of africans.

plastic plants

THe bigger the tank the easier it is. Actually spend the money on a good filter. It can make a world of difference.

i got into the hobby when i was younger, but i joined the Army and sold my 80 gal tank..After my tour to iraq i needed something to calm me and keep my active from my ptsd so now i have a 29gal, and a 5.5 gal in service now...i have a 10 gal, 5.5 gal and a 55 gal in storage...
