About Yourself:
I have been keeping freshwater aquariums since about 2008. I currently have a 29 gallon and a 20 gallon running. Looking to do a 75-120 gallon very soon with swordtails and just let them breed!
Fish Kept:
Currently housing:
4x Emerald Green Corey Cats
2x Red Velvet Swordtails (females)
4x Marigold Swordtail (females)
2x Neon Swordtail (males)
2x Harlequin Rasbora
2x Bloodfin Tetra
2x Black Neon Tetra
7x Neon Tetra
1x Glo Light Tetra
Corals/Plants:
All plastic.
Tank Size:
29 gallons
Advice:
Plan out what you want to do. Correctly cycle your tank and do not try to rush. Research, research, research your supplies and fish you would like to keep. Bigger is better in my opinion and gives you a better finished picture!

About Yourself:
25 years old, operation Iraqi Freedom II Veteran, I was medically retired from the military may of 2008, and I was diagnosed with cancer December 2008.No longer need to work thanks to the check for the VA, so I got into fish keeping for stress relief, and it is helping... Something about getting blown up in a foriegn county and getting brain damagae along with damagae to a few parts of your body, coming home and finding one thing that helps you sleep better at night, and keeps you from sweeting during the day... Fish are a beautiful thing
Fish Kept:
8 Roseline Sharks, 4 Rainbow Sharks, 3 Flying Foxes, 3 Otocinclus, 3 Syn. Decorus (4 to 6 inches), 2 Syn. Petricolas, 2 Brichardis, and 1 Angel Fish.

Advice:

About Yourself:
I got into fishkeeping due to my gf who has previously had tropical fish...Tbh I wasn't that keen on having them at the start & I didnt know nothing about keeping fish, but after alot of research we now have our tank set up now, I would say to anybody thinking about getting fish is to STOP THINKING & GET SOME!!!!!
Fish Kept:
2 Mollies (Female pregnant again!!!)6 Neon Tetra, 3 Plattie's, 1 Yellow gourami, 3 Fancie tailed Guppies & a Bristle nosed Pleco....2 Apple snails & babies & numerous Trumpet snails....Soon to be getting a colony of Red Cherry Shrimp aswell because they look cool & will make a good addition to my clean-up crew.
Corals/Plants:
Anubis, cant remember the other plants name. Will be adding some Java Fern soon.
Tank Size:
16 gallons
Advice:
1st of all do lot of research...When you get your tank let it cycle properly....Patience is a virtue!!!! Regular water changes 15-20% weekly. Regular water tests is also advisable aswell....You can test your water with 1 of the various test kits currently on the market, i personally use the test strips made by API. Never overstock your fishtank (less is more) it increases the chance of diease & it can stress your fish & eventually lead to death, your fish will thank you for the swimming space anyway....NEVER overfeed your fish!!! Work out how much they eat & only put in as much as they can eat in 5-10 mins....Good house keeping is is a must when keeping fish.
