About Yourself:
I only started keeping Marine fish about 10 years ago after my wife passed away. Wanted something to make my life worth something. I am 71years old at the moment so I didn't want too much bother with making salt water and RO water. Tap water I can manage.
The last job I had was as a Funeral Director for the last 15 years of employment.
My life now is golf, fish and holidays.

Nyasa Peacock, Dragon Blood Peacock Cichlid, Electric Yellow Cichlid, Jack Dempsey, Common Pleco

Not to sure of the plant names.
I will find out as I go along.

Advice:
Keep it simple and clean.
I don't look at it as keeping fish, to me it is keeping water and the fish make it nice to look at.

I wanted this tank have the feeling of being a part of a small creek. Most of the plastic plants are from the craft store.

I've had a fish tank since I was a kid. At 40 years old and successful, I am able to afford all of the more exotic wild-caught fish and goodies. I've been around the world and am multi-lingual. I have seen many beautiful aquariums and built this one the way I've always wanted it.

Advice:
Start with the biggest and best you can afford. It will pay off in the long run. Spend time understanding H2O chemistry and read and learn about everything you're trying to accomplish before you try anything.

Description:
Pseudotropheus Saulosi, dominant male completed the color change with several other males right behind him. A few clown lab and BN pleco to keep them company.
Algae covered lime stone and African roots give them plenty of places to hide.

Make the best of what you have to work with. Not everyone has a 120 gallon aquarium to work with. You can make great aquascapes with limited tank space if you use your imagination.
Description:
20 Gallon freshwater tank with custom 3D background and rockscape. Uses two aquaclear 50 gallon HOB filters and heater incorporated into the 3D background. This tank was a lot of fun to build and goes to show you can do a lot with small spaces.
