About Yourself:
I am a owner of a valet company in Orlando. I have always wanted a fish tank. It's a pretty cool hobby but definitely can be very expensive. When I was younger I use to build homes, so I built my own fish tank stand that I am very proud of. It is definitely 100 times beefier than anything you can buy in stores for around $125.
Fish Kept:
Cichlids: 2 bumble bee, 2 red zebra, 2 brown zebra, 2 dempsies, 2 blue ice, 1 red fin, 5 blue/gray (not sure name)
2 catfish, 1 algae eater
Corals/Plants:
Artificial plants (see local crafts stores) and rock.
Tank Size:
90 gallons
Advice:
This is my first fish tank. I can honestly say that my local fish stores have been a great source of knowledge to me. My local stores have been very helpful Fishy Business (Longwood, FL), Fantastic Aquariums (Orlando, FL) and Tropical Fish Store (Daytona, FL).

Fish Kept:
4 Danios (1 Zebra and 3 Glo fish), 1 Platy, and 2 guppies
Tank Size:
12 gallons
Advice:
Do fishless cycling. It is well worth it. Guppies and Platies and Mollies have a short lifespan. Usually 6 months. I was lucky to have one for over a year. But they keep on dying. My advice to starters is to get Danios. The glow fish paired with the zebras give lot of color and if properly taken care of will live for years. My zebra danio is now 2 years old. The Glo fish are about a year.
Description:
Eclipse 12 gallon aquarium. You can see the Danios in the shot. If you look closely you can see a Guppy. I love the bio wheel filter. Excellent starter aquarium. Increases your chances of success with the hobby. All decorations are artificial.

About Yourself:
I used to live in California in the United States but I had to move to Galway in Ireland because of family business. I was forced to sell my 15 gallon fish tank with my beloved goldfish it was very sad as they were 10 years old. I bought a new 17 gallon tank here in Ireland with new goldfish and a algae eaters eater and im flying it!!!!!!! ITS A GREAT HOBBY!!!!!!!!
Fish Kept:
My fish are fairly simple to mind but I like them I have a variety of 6 goldfish, 3 white cloud moutain minnow, 2 plecostomuses, 1octomus (algae crew) and 3 weather loach.
Corals/Plants:
I have plants with some fake plants and river rocks at the bottom. I recently added bogwood in the centre for natural effect and the fish are thriveing in it .
Tank Size:
17 gallons
Advice:
Take your time to plan out what type of tank you want and the size. The fish should be evenly matched so one fish doesnt get all the food, get a good filtration pump so it minimizes cleaning also get an oxegen pump and lighting, but most of all have fun and enjoy being a fish keeper.
Description:
This is the most recent update of my tank 30/3/2010 It contains fake plants river rocks and bogwood with an air pump connected to an air stone. Fish 6 various goldfish 2 plecos 1 octomus 3weather loaches and 3 white clouds in this community tank, hope you like it! xD.
