About Yourself:
I'm originally from the Caribbean and wildlife was all around me when I was a child. I love the ocean and its inhabitants so I will always have fish no matter what.
Fish Kept:
4 juvenile jack dempseys. All 1 inch long.
Corals/Plants:
Black spectra stone, real driftwood, fake plants
Tank Size:
30 gallons
Advice:
Always get a filter with a higher gph it keeps water conditons at its best. Don't get too excited the fewer fish in your tank the better. Always try to create an environment that emulates the one they inhabit in the wild, it brings out your fish's true colors. Please do research before purchasing. Last but not least care for your fish according to nature's standards not yours and your fish keeping experience will be enjoyable and worthwhile. Who said fish are boring pets!.

About Yourself:
Getting back into the hobby hard with my new Amazon biotope tank.... I started out around 1995 and have generally had a tank most of the time since, with some breaks every now and then.
Fish Kept:
8 Serpae Tetras, 2 Cory cats, 1 pleco.
More to follow as tank ages...
Corals/Plants:
Fake plastic for now. Will add Amazon swords, moss and some low grasses eventually.
Tank Size:
55 gallons
Advice:
Go slow, read read, read. But go as big as you can (tank size) afford. Add fish slowly, and feed fish less than you think.

About Yourself:
My husband and I have just gotten into keeping fish. I was against it at first and now the tables have turned. After getting the tank as a present, he has decided he doesn't really want to care for it. I have taken over and LOVE it. I'm anxious to learn more and to upgrade to HUGE tank after we move cause 55 gallions wont hold my three frontosa for long! :) Our 3 year old daughter loves looking at it and watching me feed the little guys. She's so obsessed I swear she'll become a marine biologist when she grows up. :)
Fish Kept:
1 6" fuellborni OB, 3 Frontosa (1 is like 8" and the other two are like 3"), 2 electric blues, 2 blood parrots, 1 acei, 1 kenyi, 1 yellow peacock, 2 common plecos, 1 albino sailfin pleco, 1 6" blue night lobster, and a few other randon malawaian cichlids.....
Corals/Plants:
all artificial plants for now.
Tank Size:
55 gallons
Advice:
DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!! Got 29 gallon for husband as a present a few months ago, and it wound up being my obsession and he never touches it. :)
Description:
our big frontosa, named BuhBuh, has not developed forehead hump yet - has lots of growing to do...
