Fish are my favourite pet and hobby. I got into them when a friend gave me his 2 ft tank and i asked my local aquarium what fish i should keep. He replies cichlids. And so cichlids it was and cichlids it is.

I have three or four plastic plants there water wonders from tetra I think the look so real.

Advice:
Always go a step higher on the filter size when getting a filter for your tank. This will ensure clear water. also feed your fish little amounts fish dont need alot of food. clean your gravel once a month with a gravel tube they work great an are easy to use.

I started with a breeding pair of guppies and their offspring usually paid for their food. Since college opened my eyes, I have moved on from my tropical tretra/guppy tank to raising and breeding cichlids. My favorite cichlids being my goby cichlids Crystal and Red XII. They are so friendly and great me when I come home.
