Rated #220: Freshwater Fish - Archocentrus Nigrofasciatus - Black Convict Cichlid Stocking In 45 Gallons Tank

Rated #220: Freshwater Fish - Archocentrus Nigrofasciatus - Black Convict Cichlid Stocking In 45 Gallons Tank - 45gal tall, sandstone rock structure, crushed granite substrate($10 for 80 pounds at landscape supply), Undergravel jets for good water movement. Way too many fish in tank, overrun w/baby Convicts! I have a massive amount of filtration so my PH, Ammonia levels etc. are always good. If anybody can tell me what the big fish at the left side of the tank is, i'd really like any opinions!

About Yourself: 50 yr. old male. Retired/disabled truck driver. Been into the hobby off and on for about 25 yrs. Some really nice set-ups here. I got a lot of good ideas for my tank.
Fish Kept: Convicts, Australian Rainbows, 2 Jack Dempseys, Black Skirt Tetras, Texas Cichlids, Striped Raphael Catfish and 1 unknown Cichlid. I know I have too many fish, but my old tank started leaking and I only had the cash for this tank! Planning on getting at least a 75gal. tank in the near future.
Corals/Plants: Fake plants. Sandstone and slate from landscape supply.
Tank Size: 45 gallons
Advice: Get as large a tank as you can afford because you'll just end up getting a bigger one later. I get alot of my equipment (filters, air pumps etc.) from garage sales. I paid less than $30.00 for my filters! Also, things like decorative rock and substrate can be purchased at landscape supply for very cheap. I also saved quite a bit of cash by making my stand and hood myself.
