About Yourself: i love fish.. aquariums look great and make awesome focal points.. they are quite entertaining.. better than a tv..
Fish Kept: 1 large silver shark 1 gold algae eater 2 brown algae eaters 2 bristle nose catfish 6 tigerbarbs 8 paradise fish (offspring of my late paradise partners =[ ) 1 tetra ( all the rest have dies over the years, this one has been a survivor) and pleanty of fresh water shrimp
Corals/Plants: plastic plants at the moment, i find its too expensive to keep real plants in my tank because my fish love organic matter.
Advice: `research which types of fish go well together `ask fish and aquarium stores for advice if you dont know `give you fish a balanced and varied diet (research it) ` and never buy fish from tanks which have dead ones in them

About Yourself: Well I moved from South Carolina and I couldn't have piranha down south so. When I moved here I knew that I could so I just jump right on it and went all out. Went to Knoxville, Tenn and paid 150.00 for 10 piranha's. And as of 6/15/2007 they just turn a year old. And my occupation I work as a night manager at walmart its just great. So to all they are not bad fish. The tank is really clean all the time even doe i feed them goldfish, chicken wings, mice and fish pellets.
Fish Kept: 1 big fat Pacu and 10 Piranhas a black knife fish that hides all the time.
Corals/Plants: 4 plastic hanging plants and 2 long vine plants
Tank Size: 120 gallons
Advice: Fish are like dogs and cats u just cant take them out for walks but u can train them and love them. So get fish that u can really keep and not just get them and when they get to big let them go in the river, pond, or lake etc.

Rated #176: Freshwater Fish - Carassius Auratus - Goldfish Stocking In 10 Gallons Tank

Rated #176: Freshwater Fish - Carassius Auratus - Goldfish Stocking In 10 Gallons Tank - My wonderful common goldfish. I have them in a 75 Gallon with four dojo loaches. To regular dojos and 2 gold. The goldfish are about 3 years old. Once on the fourth of July the power went out here and it was over 100 dg according to the thermometer on the goldfish tank because the air conditioner was not working. So I got a straw and blew bubbles till I passed out in my room from 12-3 am and constantly got big bags of what ice was left over in the freezer and put them in the tank to do my best to save the goldfish. After the first day and night I went to buy a battery operated air pump and the rest survived. I lost 7 fish to that black out and 2 goldfish. These are the remaining two. And now they are nice happy and big! thanks
