About Yourself:
Always have been around aquariums. Bred guppies and collected creatures in the saltwater flats here with my family growing up. Later, enjoyed African Cichlids.
Once I found out that you can have a reef tank that does not involve the destruction of our beautiful real coral reefs, I jumped right in! (Pun intended)

Too many.. Mostly freshwater.

A lot. I'll get back to this.

47 gallons
Advice:
Keep it simple. do not overfeed, and change your water frequently! Secondly, waterflow and lighting are important!
Description:
This is my tank. 47 Gallon Pentagon. 70 lbs of Live rock, aquacultured. 50lbs crushed coral substrate. Several various marine-bred and aquacultured corals. 134 Watts of Compact lighting. Penguin Bio Filter, Wet/dry, Protein skimmer, 2 powerheads on wave device. -Growing for approx 3 years.

Lg. Percula Clown (bought her small... day one of completed cycle)
Med. Sebea Clown (most aggressive of my clowns)
Sm. Yellostrip Maroon Clown (becomes the most aggressive when others get near his green bubble anemane)
Sm. Scooter Blenny (frozen food trainned)
Lg. Spotted Mandarin (also FFT and so fat think he might die of obesity)
Lg. Orange Spotted Goby (this guy is always so cranky)
I know its not a fish but also;
Cleaner Shrimp and Blue Hermit Clab (Coral are secured in its place he does fine in there)
Corals/Plants:
Pulsing Xenia's ( they die, because of anemane, then regrow fast)
Starburst Green Polyp (grows too fast... I trim and frag out to LFS for trades)
Bullseye Mushrooms
3-4 different types of Zoanthus frags that blended and made some nice colors

Just wanted something cool for the entryway of our house and fell into the hobby.

1 powder blue tang, one true percula clown, 1 yellow tang, 1 flame angelfish, 6 green chromis, 1 lawnmower blenny
Corals/Plants:
Button polyp, candy coral, bubble tip anemone, finger leather, colony polyp, fluorescent mushroom, striped mushroom, pumping xenia, purple/red mushrooms, acropora, hammer coral, etc.
Tank Size:
76 gallons
Advice:
Be prepared to spend time on the hobby, you can't just setup a reef tank and leave it for days at a time .. but once you get into it you won't want to leave it anyway.
