Quote: "What was this guy thinking? To own so many tanks is crazy. What kind of a person would want more than one small aquarium in their house?" --Nikolay, sarcastically commenting on a Craigslist ad selling a large number of aquariums
About Yourself: Computer geek, web developer, aspiring engineer, plus a roommate whom I've corrupted and turned into an obsessed fish person like myself.

BOG: Hemianthus Callitrichoides, Salvinia Natans, Selaginella Erythropus, Sarracenia 'Judith Hindle', Echinodorus Rubin, Mondo Grass - Dwarf, Begonia Bipinnatifida, Pilea Cadieri, Ficus Salicifolia, Peperomia Angulata, Ananas Nanus.
Tank Size: 240 gallons
Advice: Do your research, start with a tank of decent size so you have a margin of error on the chemistry. Get an oversized filter and use only mechanical and biological filter media (no carbon or ammonia removers). Use a plant substrate for the tank and plant heavily from the start. Use CO2 injection, whether homemade or compressed tank. make sure you have enough light, a single bulb is not enough. Research your fish choices to ensure they will get along, not outgrow your tank and don't require special water conditions. Establish and follow a consistent schedule of water changes and fertilizer dosing. Keep notes on what you do and how well it works. You will be rewarded.
