About Yourself: I really like to see beautiful fishes in a tank.. Its so lovely.. Planning for a bigger tank approx 50 -75 gallons or more.. That's gonna be a real challenge.
Fish Kept: 2 Mollies 4 Platties. 8 Neon Tetras 2 Bala Sharks (silver) 2 Blue Dwarf Gouramis I guess these would be enough for this small tank. Comments plz. PS: only one dwarf gourami is living now.. all other fish died or "disappeared"?? :(
Corals/Plants: I'm buying Artificial for the small tank. I prefer to stay with artificial, until i get a bigger tank. PS: The new tank will be ready beginning January 2007. This one will be a planted tankl, i'm planning on the design beforehand.. I'm planning for a peaceful lake or river setup.. help needed, comments and ideas most appreciated. The tank will be L: 36in W: 18in H: 21in giving me approximately 59GL I'm planning for a DIY CO2, but not too sure on the diffuser part and how to control co2 emmission in the tank. HELP Plz
Tank Size: 16 gallons
Advice: I'm still learning. and each day u learn something from it. Best is to read, ask questions, read and ask questions. Don't trust those shop owners too much, best is to look for Mom & Dad kept shops. they'll supply with good advice and are always willing to give a helping help and or ideas. Read and read and read, and ask and ask.. never stop reading and asking, most people are ready to help or guide you on specific items. I always listen to people and gather on what each one said and i try to compile all into one possible solution, it sure works..

About Yourself: I am a 28yr old male and in the Military, so I am not sure of how long I will be keeping this fish tank. But My plans are to buy a 200 gallon and do the salt water thing and start cheap, at least until I get the hang of it. So good luck to all of you that are seasoned vets and keep fishing.
Fish Kept: There are six various African Cichlids and two "Fancy Oscars" although I am not sure why they are fancy. I also have two Pleco's in there as well.
Corals/Plants: There are only two fake plants in my tank the rest are planted. My plans are to set in place some Java Moss. I am going to tie the moss to the various objects in the tank. And line half of the bottom with Star Moss and Flame moss. But first I wanna see how the Oscars do with the plants I have now.
Tank Size: 75 gallons
Advice: I my self am a new hobbyist so I cant give any advice. But sooner or later I will be able too

Quote: If you can't ba a good example, be a horrible warning.
About Yourself: I started out in May '06 with Flipper my Fantail. I had gotten him to go in a bowl with a stalk of lucky bamboo. After doing a little reading on Goldfish I upgraded to an Eclipse 5 gallon hexagon. Then for Christmas I got a 20 gallon tank. This is a classic example of how fish are like drugs. Once you start, you have to keep getting bigger and bigger aquariums and more and more fish
Fish Kept: Right now I have one Calico Fantail Goldfish, six Zebra Danios, one Lepard Danio. (He got mixed in with the others by accedent, but gets along fine with his cousins), and one Albino Cory Cat
Corals/Plants: I have a couple of lily plants and one bushy plant I'm not sure about
Tank Size: 20 gallons
Advice: Get the absolute biggest aquarium you can afford and accomadate. Let it run for three or MORE days before you even think of putting a fish in it. Buy yourself a good book and research the fish you want. (Since I started out with a Goldfish I am now VERY limited on what fish I can put with him.) THen add your fish slowly. I know how it is you just want to have a bunch a beautiful fish right away, but wait. It's better in the long run.
