Description:
4ft 120 litre tank. mainly cichlids with some Australian native rainbows thrown in which seem to get along with the cichlids just fine.I like LOW MAINTENANCE tanks that still grab your attention (hence no plants!) and there are some GREAT tanks on this site that meet that criteria. Max out filtration for really happy tank. I'm running a fluval 304, 1200lph power head, eheim cannister filter + 16w UV sterilizer. I can't stop them breeding and coloring up so I guess they're happy. Cheers-

About Yourself:
I have been keeping fish for about 8 years now and have a salt water reef tank as well, which unfortunately isn't looking it's best just now as I have been overseas for a while and my wife has been looking after it. I will however get it sorted out over the coming months.

About Yourself:
I remember my first fish tank, my dad brought it home one day and I feel in love. Being able to take care, and maintain your own little ecosystem is something that fascinated me. My dad showed me how to take care of it, water changes, feeding, filter cleaning, etc and that was it I was hooked! 10 years later and this is my current setup, I like to think I've gotten pretty good at keeping care of the fish and tank, but I still have a lot to learn.
