About Yourself: I have been keeping fish for more then 20 years - never tried salt water. I love to spend time watching the habits of my fish - it is very fun to watch them inter-act with each other. Never give up on your fish - they seem to have 9 lives.
Fish Kept: all kinds mix fish, africans, cory cats, mollies, clown fish and many others
Corals/Plants: mostly plastic - many are hand made by myself. I have a few live plants - vals only.
Tank Size: 250 gallons
Advice: Change water at least 2 times a month, purchase a LARGE filter if you plan on having alot of fish. Compare fish types BEFORE purchasing SOME fish do not get along

Quote: When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
About Yourself: I am in college and wanted a pet i could care for mostly on the weekends and was relatively inexpensive, i have always liked watching fish and want to put together a decent mbuna tank.
Fish Kept: I am experimenting around right now and am just trying to find what will and won't work with my given setup. Anything that bullies the tank too much will be traded in. That being said heres what I am keeping: Pseudotropheus Saulosi - 2M, 4F Melanochromis Auratus - 1M Pseudotropheus Socolofi - 2M Tropheops sp "yellow chin" - 1F Cynotilapia afra - 1M, 1F Synodontis nigriventris (Upside Down Catfish) - 6 Assorted Busy Nose Pleco - 2
Corals/Plants: None.
Tank Size: 75 gallons
Advice: Don't try to mess with your PH if you are just entering the hobby, stick with fish that do well on your tap (get a PH measuring kit if you are unsure) . Over filtration is always better than under filtration, and lots of water changes make happy fish (just make sure to neutralize Chloramines).
