Well I am a Telecom Professional and I started keeping fish a couple of months ago because of my friend/coligue and obviously it was actually the fish which were so attractive that made me start keeping them.

Suggestion/Advice: for maintaining the interest in this hobby we have to start doing/inventing stuff by our selves, rather than we start depending on the technology.

None :) They're easier to keep looking nice :)

Advice:
Start your tank with ALL bottled water, especially if you live in an area with hard water. Minerals are a pain in the butt to remove, and they make your water look really cloudy.

I have a total of 27 fish. 2 catfish, 1 algee eater, 2 parrot, 4 gauramis, 3 black tipped sharks, tin foil, and many different types of barbs!

mix of real and fake. some grass, bannana plants, and others that I have no idea of the name! River rocks and driftwood

Being new also, don't stress over every little thing, take time to sit back and enjoy!
