Eight Rosy Barbs
One Plecostomus of unknown species (not a sailfin)
Corals/Plants:
Artificial Plants only

Advice:
Don't worry your self with maintaining perfect water quality. Adding chemicals to alter water parameters as a beginner will certainly end in disaster. Do weekly water changes and be sure to cycle the tank before addition of live stock.

Fish Kept:
In my current tank there is:
7 harlequin rasbora/Lambchop Rasbora.
A shoal of 2 rosy tetra and one black phantom.
A male and 3 female cherry barbs.
Corals/Plants:
Mainly Cryptocorynes, Anubias, though ive tried many fine leafed plants which im terrible at keeping, vallisneria (didnt go down too well)
Tank Size:
24 gallons
Advice:
Dont go for a smaller tank because your new to the hobby, get the biggest tank you can, because larger tanks are easier to maintain than a smaller one. Do lots of research, and ask hobbyists online about good hardy fish to start with.
Cherry Barbs, Harlequin Rasbora are excellent ive had mine for years. Rosy tetra seem hardy too as i still have one of my original ones who is 5 years old.
