Red Oranda Goldfish
Corals/Plants:
None
Tank Size:

Advice:
I had a worst experience keeping the fancy variety goldfish - The oranda goldfish. I have lost a great no of fish over the past several years. The only reason which I could figure out is that " You Need to Compulsory Cycle Your Tank First If You Intend to Keep the Very Attractive Fish like the Fancy Goldfish & Discus.

One day I want a fish tank big enough I can swim in.
About Yourself:
I started out buying a 20 gal goldfish tank for my daughter and became obsessed. I rescued what I though was a pleco from a horrible fish store who actually turned out to be a lace catfish(now named Igor)and bought my first 75 gal for him to fit in. I bought my first "cichlid" a Jurupari named "Geo" soon after and I was hooked. The goldfish are now in a pond we built in the back yard and we now have 3 fish tanks.

About Yourself:
Started with my first aquarium over 15 years ago. I on time had 4 different 55 gallon tanks running, but my current living space has limited the size tanks I can keep. Have kept an assortment of fish from guppies, to goldfish, to ciclids, to local fish.
Fish Kept:
10" Bluegill Sunfish, 6" Green Sunfish. Both caught locally when approx. 2" long.
Corals/Plants:
Plastic plants for now, planning on switching to real plants soon.
Tank Size:
40 gallons
Advice:
Research, Research and Research. Read as much as you can on aquarium setups and the fish you plan on having.
