About Yourself:
I never cared for fish until I was given a fish tank as a gift. I was looking for very colorful and active fish but didn't want to settle for expensive saltwater fish. With careful research of African Cichlids, I decided to try a few of them out. Ever since, I have been intrigued by there variety of colors, shapes, sizes, aggression and different personalities.
Fish Kept:
African Cichlids, approximately 27 total. 3 Giraffe Cichlids, 3 Electric Yellow Labs, 4 Blue Dolphins, 3 Peacocks, just to name a few.
5 Bushynose Pleco's and 3 Clown Loaches.
Corals/Plants:
Substrate: African Cichlid sand and play sand mixed. (Approximately 200 pounds total)
Landscape: Live rock (Type: Limestone) and Mohogani wood
Plants: Two Green Vibran-Sea Leaf Marsh Grass Silk-Style Aquarium Plants, Extra-Large 18-19 tall.
Tank Size:
90 gallons
Advice:
RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH along with regular water changes in order to keep African Cichlids colorful and happy.

Research Research Research!!!!! you can't read enough! & don'talways believe what the people working at the pet store say - they don't always know the facts!
Don't feel bad if a fish doesn't work in your tank & you have to take it back to the store - its usually the best thing to do rather than having problems!
