My Straight Tail Angelfish

Very inquisitive, so much so I have to be extra careful when arranging inside tank because he/she will approach instead of hide!

About Yourself: I inherited the tank, filter, and heating element from my sister when she moved to California to become a marine biologist; apparently something about Kansas wasn't fitting with her educational field. ;)
Fish Kept: Green Coral Dwarf Gouramis - 1. Opaline Gouramis - 2. Angelfish - 1. Red Velvet Swordtails - Male & Female. Bristlenose Pleco - 1.
Corals/Plants: Live Plants: Java Fern. Water Lilly Bulb. Mopani Driftwood - 2.
Tank Size: 20 gallons
Advice: 1. Read at least a little about it before you buy anything past initial setup. 2. Let initial setup (tank, filter, heat, gravel, decoration, plants) sit for a week before you add any fish. 3. Add fish according to method recommended by local fish store (usually floating method). 4. Add fish/change anything slowly. Don't over feed.

About Yourself: 22 years old, started when I was 10 years old. I had a couple of tanks that failed because I had no idea what I was doing. Since started up again like a year and half ago, its been going great. Still learning, I don't think I will ever know it all.
Fish Kept: 1) clown angelfish, 1) upside down catfish, 2) peaceful african cichlids, 4) platties, 1) bronze cory, 1) spotted cory, 1) albino cory, 1) scum sucker "algae eater" , 1) blue gourami
Corals/Plants: All plastic
Tank Size: 55 gallons
Advice: Bigger the tank, the easier it is to maintain. (if you don't over stock) The filter reads 40 gallon. It's really only good for 20 gallons.
