About Yourself: I got in to this hobby from my old friend to see who had 3 tanks and I loved what he had. I am a Boilermaker from Local 169. I am also looking forward to getting a 150 gallon with Discus as soon as I buy my house.
Fish Kept: 9- Red-Bellied Pirhana 1 Rhino Pleco 1 Dragon Goby (violet goby)
Corals/Plants: Plastic plants, (easier to clean)
Tank Size: 55 gallons
Advice: I find that when setting up my tank to let it cycle. Its easier when you drop a dozen gold fish in the tank for a week then remove them. The tank will be cycled then you can start adding you desired fish.

Quote: Don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweaty stuff!
About Yourself: I started with a really small 10 gal tank... My platys started having tonnes of babies, so I decided to upgrade my aquarium and get into live plants.
Fish Kept: gouramis, platys, cardinal tetras, white skirt tetras, pleco, albino cory, electric blue lobster, feeder shrimp (yeah, they're supposed to be food, but they keep reproducing!)
Corals/Plants: narrow leaf bacopa, cambomba, amazon sword, java moss, banana plant, red tiger lotus, a few artificial plants
Tank Size: 35 gallons
Advice: Knowledge and patience is key...I have lost many fish and some plants to my inexperience and lack of patience. (I didn't research the electric blue lobster before I threw him in the mix, and realized afterward what a great hunter he is - I have lost MANY platys this way....)
