About Yourself:
Just had the itch one day and bought a few Bettas and kept going from there. I have an interest in saltwater tanks, however my pocket book does not currently share the same interest. I just aquired a 120 gallon tank and am in the process of setting it up for saltwater

I have this tank and a few other smaller tanks. I recommend beggining with an Eclipse system and reading Freshwater or Saltwater Tanks for Dummies. The Eclipse system comes with everything you need. Make sure you have time for the hobby.

Started with a 10 gallon freshwater and within a month i had a 29 saltwater instead! I did not enjoy it as much as I do my saltwater tank! I love the saltwater fish and the corals!

Plan and read. I wouldn't buy anything until your sure about the size of everything you want and the equipment needed to maintain your tank.You can usually figure about $30 - $35 a gal for a tank that is fully set up with livestock. Make sure to support your Local Fish Store, and check the internet to see if there is a good local reef community or forum board.
