Description:
55 gallon tank (48''x12''x18''). Marineland 330 filter, 260 watt power compacts (2-50/50's and 2- 5500K) with 8 moonlight LEDs, 250watt heater, profile air pump with 18 inch bubble wall, Miraclebeam laser lights and hi lites. The tank has about equal amounts of live and fake plants (going for mostly live). blue, light blue, and black stone mix. 2 pieces of drift wood, and a bunch of rocks. Mainly tetra (black and regular neons, glo-lites, 1 big swordtail, bleeding hearts, cherry barbs) I also have a 10 gallon tank with all guppies and a retro neon look.
Advice:
If your tank gets cloudy, don't worry, give it a month if you must like i had to. You can have a great tank on a low budget, get the sales and stuff that is natural that you can find outside or what not. Dont forget EBAY! But support your local aquarium store, plus the people there can help you out.
Fish Kept:
5 black neons, 7 blue/red neons, 4 glo-lite tetras, 3 orange swordtails, 3 flame tetra, 5 cherry barbs, 3 emrald corys, 1 blue/purple female betta, and a 10 gallon tank full of breeding guppies.
Corals/Plants:
Some ramdom aquatic plants, various fake plants, algae and 2 pieces of driftwood.
