More Info

Country: India
Description: 30”x15”x18” glass tank, Resun CL200 chiller connected to Eheim Ecco 2232 canister filter outputs, Red Sea Prism Pro skimmer, Eheim Compact 1002 and Aqua El 650 power heads, Oshio BLV 20000K 150w MH with Philips ballast on for 7 hrs with timer. No sump.
Advice: My reef tank’s 3 years as on 27.08.09. Corals are thriving and had no setbacks. I use Red Sea products. Phosphate removers are not readily available here and RO units here have high TDS, so have been using Aquafina. However, Aquafina being expensive, I’ve been able to do 30% water changes every 6 month. Your comments and suggestions are welcome.
Fish Kept: Clarkii clown, Electric blue damsel, Yellow tail damsel.
Corals/Plants: Daisy/Flowerpot Corals (Goniopora sp.), Button Polyps (Zoanthids), Pagoda Coral (Turbinaria peltata) and Cup Coral (Turbinaria reniformis).
Tank Size: 30 gallons
Quote: Of the vast saltwater in the world, a little of that being reef and to have a minuscule of this in your living room is indeed thrilling.
About Yourself: I’m happy to be in this hobby perplexed at it’s “beauty past compare”.
