Description: My 75 gallon Reef tank still in construction progress, just adding things as i have the money to do it. 1 250W metal halide with 4 x t5 artinics. Home made overflow box(upgrading soon cause its to noisy),23 gallon sump with oversized aquarworld Protien Skimmer, 12V Uv Steriliser, Hailea 1/10hp chiller for summer and a 300W heater on its way for winter. 2400L/hr return with 80 pounds of live sand and about 20 pounds of live rock(looking at adding at least that much again)
Advice: Read read and read, do your research and plan everything. Don't trust exactly what your fish shop says they're usually wrong. Find one that you can trust and has good prices!
Fish Kept: 2 Clarkii Clowns, 3 Chromis, 1 Tomato Clown, Yellow Tail Damsel, 1 Snowflake Eel. Looking at getting a couple of Tangs once i have the money and who knows what else
Corals/Plants: Large Hammer Coral, Frogspawn, Leather Toadstool, 1 Soft Coral, Finger Coral, Jardina coral (elegance?) Bubble Coral, Green and brown Goniopora and many more on the way once i can afford them
Tank Size: 75 gallons
Quote: none
About Yourself: I'm a second yr film student studying film and screen production. I've had a Saltwater tank for about 4 years or so just upgraded to this 4ft tank which i use to have a couple of oscars in. Any Comments or advice would be great as i'm still a learner. Once I've finished this tank i'll be upgrading to something more like a 120gal tank in a few years
