20 gallons planted tank (mostly live plants and fish) - Tank16x24x12 20 US gals Filtration Whisper 20 with Fuval cermaic media Lighting Jebo 2x 55watt standerd blubs giving me 5.5wpg CO2 Nurifin CO2 unit, water, yeast, sugar mix giving me about 1 bubble per min Substrate small gravel about 3" deep Fertilisation plant food tabs (near bigger plants) about 1 time per month, Flurish twice a week Water chemistry pH 7.0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 15, temperature 75 degrees MaintenanceI do a water change once every 2 weeks of about 25%, at that time I will vac the gravel, I rinse the filter media off in the removed water Fish 6 x Black Neon Tetras, 5 x Blue Neon Tetras, 6 x Black Skirt Tetras, 2 x Rubber nose Plecos, 6 x Ghost Shrimp Plants 3xLudwigia glandulosa, 3xHygrophila difformis, 5xMyriophyllum , 10xMicrosorium pteroptus, ~xVesicularia dubyana, 3xAlternanthera reineckii Decor Large piece of bogwood, African black root (the Java log)

Advice: If begining a new tank, carefully pick each of your elements Fish (for compatabilty), Plants (both for layout and for light, water requirements) and Size (to accomadate both of the other elements)

People are rating your tank way to low. This is a beauty! Good diversity of plants well placed and with extra color, could use some blue, but... would like to have seen the Plecos. I like the way the log is semi-hidden and nice selection of icthyus!! Good job, SMMH. fish avatar
