More Info

Country: Zimbabwe
Description: my tank is a 20 gallon aquarium. it first started out as a planted tank but had some difficulties. Has a fluval 2 plus with a 65 watt coral life flourescent strip. The subsrate is eco-complete on the bottom and sand and black gravel mixed together on the top layer to allow the water to reach down to the eco-complete. all the plant are free-floaters, except two. The are mostly java fern and anubius and they reproduce excellent. water change every two weeks and change the aquascape every month. the tank is self-sustaining and doesnt even require a filter or a heater for at least a month. the tank is 2 years old.
Advice: spend money on the parts that will keep your fish alive longer and better. look at it like an insurance policy.
Fish Kept: 2 red-eyed tetras, 3 corys, 2 plecos, 2 black skirt tetras, 7 neon tetras, 1 unknown species of tetra (orange), 1 ghost shrimp.
Corals/Plants: 4-5 anubius tied down to lava rock and 2-3 free-floating anubius, 3-4 java ferns and many more newly reproduced babies
Tank Size: 20 gallons
