COMMENTS

my first colony consisted of about 30 then my second and third colonies were of about 25 to 30. if i had a 300 i would fill it up with a large group of about 80 or so. i have seen people make it with as little as 2 to three i guess it depends on each fish fish avatar
beautiful pics, tropheus may be one of my favorite genus, Was wondering what size colony you started with and at what # did aggression begin to cease? I have a 300 gallon with roughly 80 africans and would really like to have a stable colony of trophs in there but unfortunately availability where I live prevents me from buying them in bulk and so it's almost like highlander status where "there can be only one". Used to have 10 and currently down to 5 total and only 1 of each species. Any thoughts? fish avatar
thanks for the comments.... i have about 29-31 fish. Give or take. the holding tank is on the outside and across from the main tank. fish avatar
sweet tank....is that holding tank on the inside or outside the tank? fish avatar
